Vanelo Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They help the site work properly, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. This policy is issued by PitchHub Ltd (“PitchHub”, “we”, “us” or “our”), the operator of Vanelo (the “Platform”). It explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on the Platform, and the choices available to you. It applies to visitors and users wherever in the world they access the Platform from. Where we refer to “cookies” in this policy, this includes similar technologies such as local and session storage, which work in the same way but are not strictly cookies. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.

2. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Platform to work, for example to keep you signed in, maintain your session, remember security settings, hold your plan selection while you create an account, hold a Showcase submission while payment is being taken, keep a shared document open for someone who has arrived through a share link, and let the Platform reload safely after we release an update. The Platform cannot function properly without these, and they do not require your consent.

Functional cookies

These remember choices you make on the Platform, such as display preferences or whether you have turned alert sounds on or off, to give you a more consistent experience.

Analytics cookies

These help us understand how the Platform is used, for example which pages and features are visited, so we can improve it. We use these only with your consent where required by law.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies on the Platform are placed by third parties who provide services to us, rather than by PitchHub directly.

We may use other third-party service providers for functions such as messaging, email delivery or support ticketing, and these providers may also set cookies or similar technologies to make their part of the service work. Any such third-party cookie is placed only in connection with a service we use to operate the Platform, and, where it is not strictly necessary for that service to function, only with your consent in the same way as our other non-essential cookies.

We do not control third-party cookies and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of the third parties that set them. Where a third party offers its own opt-out (for example, Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on), you can use that in addition to managing cookie categories through the Platform's own cookie settings tool.

3. Managing your cookie preferences

Where consent is required, you will be asked to choose which categories of non-essential cookies to accept when you first visit the Platform, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings available on the Platform. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how parts of the Platform work.

4. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use. We will post the updated policy on the Platform.

5. Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us through the Help feature on the Platform or by email at hello@vanelo.io.
