Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Vanelo, the fundraising platform operated by PitchHub Ltd. They set out who may open an account, what the subscription and the Showcase review fee cover, what we will and will not do, and the limits of all of it. We have tried to write them in the same plain English we use everywhere else on this site.

About this draft

This page is published as a working draft while it sits with our lawyers. It has not yet been through legal review, and some specifics are still being settled. Until that review is complete, read this as an honest description of how we intend to operate rather than as a final agreement.

If anything here matters to a decision you are about to make, email hello@vanelo.io and ask us before you commit money or documents to the platform.

1. Who we are

Vanelo is operated by PitchHub Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom and registered for UK VAT.

PitchHub Ltd
Alpha Works, 21st Floor, Alpha Towers
Suffolk Street Queensway
Birmingham B1 1TT
United Kingdom

In these terms, we, us and our mean PitchHub Ltd. Vanelo and the platform mean the website and the product you sign in to. You means the person using it, and where you are using Vanelo for a company, it also means that company.

2. Who may use the platform

Vanelo is built for first-time equity founders in the United Kingdom, and for investors looking at the businesses those founders are raising for. Two things have to be true before you use it.

  • You are old enough to enter into a contract in your country.
  • If you set up a round, run an Investability Assessment, publish a Showcase campaign or share a data room on behalf of a company, you have that company's authority to do so and to accept these terms for it.

Investors use Vanelo without paying anything. Investor verification is separate from signing up: until an investor is verified, they cannot read the full detail of a campaign in Deal Discovery. Verification is a check on who somebody is, not an endorsement of them by us.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and keep the information on your account accurate. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us at hello@vanelo.io as soon as you think someone else has access to it.

You are responsible for what you put into Vanelo: the numbers in a round, the answers in an Investability Assessment, the inputs to a valuation, the pitch decks and legal documents in a data room, and the content of a Showcase campaign. You confirm that you have the right to upload and share each of those, and that what you say about your company is true.

You can erase your account yourself from within the platform. Erasure is not a refund, and it does not reverse fees already charged. What happens to material you have already shared with a recipient, and how erasure interacts with records we are required to keep, is set out in our privacy policy.

Your content stays yours

We do not claim ownership of your documents, your figures or your campaign copy. You give us only the permission we need to run the service you asked for: to store your material, to show it to the people you grant access to, and to display an approved campaign to verified investors. The platform itself stays ours, including the Vanelo Investability Framework, the three valuation methodologies as we have implemented them, and the material in the Inspiration Hub.

4. The founder subscription

The founder subscription is £25.99 per month, or £239.88 per year on the annual plan, which works out at £19.99 a month. It is what gives you the platform: round management, the Investability Assessment, the Valuation Engine, the digital data room, the investor database and its target list, the due diligence checklist, the investor CRM and the Inspiration Hub.

  • Starting. You choose the subscription straight after creating a founder account. There is no free-forever tier, so a subscription is what keeps the platform available to you.
  • Renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each month, or each year on the annual plan, and keeps renewing until you cancel it.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel from your account at any time. The platform stays available to you until the end of the month or year you have paid for.
  • Price changes. Prices are set by us and can be changed. Where a change affects a subscription that is already running, we will tell you before it applies.

All prices on this site are in pounds sterling. The current prices are always on the pricing page.

5. Showcase campaigns and the review fee

A Showcase campaign is a public campaign that appears in Deal Discovery, where verified investors can read it. It is charged separately from your subscription.

  • Review fee, £357 per campaign. This pays for us to review a campaign before it goes live.
  • Re-review fee, £357. This is charged when content that has already been reviewed is edited, because the edited campaign has to be reviewed again before it is shown.

The fee buys the review, not a particular outcome. We may approve a campaign, ask you to change it, or decline it. Because there are no refunds on campaign submissions, the fee is not returned if we decline. We tell you the outcome by email and in the product.

If you do not want to risk the fee on a campaign we might decline, ask us first at hello@vanelo.io before you submit.

6. Advisory services

Advisory sessions are booked through the platform. The services on offer and their prices are configured by us, and each service carries its own price, so a booking is priced per service rather than covered by your subscription. Advisors give their own views in a session. What is said in one is not a decision by us, and it does not change anything in section 9 about investment advice.

7. Refunds

Our refund policy, dated 28 August 2026, is short and we would rather you read it before you spend anything:

There are no refunds on booked services, on campaign submissions, or on subscriptions.

That covers advisory bookings, the Showcase review fee, the re-review fee, and subscription payments, monthly or annual. Cancelling a subscription stops future payments, it does not return past ones, and erasing your account does not either. Nothing in this section takes away rights you have under UK law that cannot be given up by agreement.

8. Acceptable use

Vanelo works because founders and investors can trust what they are looking at. That puts a few things out of bounds.

  • Do not misrepresent. No false or misleading claims about your company, your traction, your funding ask, your previous raises or your tax relief position, whether in a round record, an assessment, a data room document or a campaign.
  • Do not upload what is not yours to share. That includes confidential material belonging to someone else and anything you do not have the rights to.
  • Do not misuse the investor database. The records are there to help you build a target list and work a pipeline, not to be scraped, exported for resale, or used for bulk unsolicited marketing.
  • Do not work around access controls. Data room access is granted per recipient, with expiry and an access log. Passing your own grant along to somebody else defeats the point of both.
  • Do not attack the platform. No attempts to get at accounts, campaigns or documents you have not been given access to, no probing or interfering with how the service runs, and nothing unlawful.

If an account breaks these rules we may suspend or close it, and we may take down a campaign. Suspension or closure for a breach does not create a refund.

9. Campaign review is ours to decide

Every Showcase campaign is reviewed by us before it goes live, and we may decline it. We can also ask for changes, and we can remove a campaign that is already live if something in it turns out to be wrong or in breach of section 8. Editing content that has already been reviewed sends the campaign back for review and triggers the re-review fee.

A review that passes is not an endorsement of the business, a verification of its numbers, or diligence done on your behalf. It is a check by us against our own standards for what can be shown in Deal Discovery. Investors should do their own work on every opportunity, and founders should not present our review as anything more than it is.

10. Nothing here is investment advice

This is the most important section on the page. Vanelo is not authorised to give investment advice and does not give it. Nothing on the platform is investment advice, a personal recommendation, an inducement or an offer to buy or sell any investment.

That applies to all of it, specifically:

  • The Investability Assessment. A score out of 100 across Viable business, Sizable opportunity and Backable team, and a tier, is a structured view of readiness. It is not a prediction that you will raise, and it is not a signal to invest.
  • The Valuation Engine. The Scorecard, Berkus and Venture Capital methodologies produce a defensible valuation range from what you put in. Vanelo never gives a single recommended figure, and a range is a starting point for a negotiation, not a price we are telling you to accept.
  • The investor database and target list. Matching on stage, sector and ticket compatibility says a record looks relevant. It is not a referral, an introduction, or a suggestion that anyone will invest.
  • Deal Discovery. A campaign listed there is a founder's own material, shown after our review. It is not our recommendation of the company.
  • The Inspiration Hub, the templates and the due diligence checklist. General information and structure, not advice about your situation.

Take your own independent legal, tax and financial advice before you raise or invest. That includes anything to do with SEIS or EIS tax relief: we give you a place to record it, we do not determine or confirm eligibility for it. Investing in early-stage companies carries real risk, including the risk of losing everything you put in.

11. Availability and limitation of liability

We work to keep Vanelo running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error free. Outputs from the platform depend on what you put into it, and on third-party information in the case of investor records, so we cannot guarantee that every figure or record is complete or current.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, the categories of loss we do not accept liability for and the overall cap on our liability are being settled with our lawyers, and will be set out here before these terms take effect. We would rather say that plainly than publish a figure we have not agreed.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and where a change materially affects you we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Vanelo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will hear any dispute.

14. How to contact us

One address covers everything, including questions about these terms, a charge on your account, a campaign in review, or a request about your data: hello@vanelo.io. Post goes to PitchHub Ltd, Alpha Works, 21st Floor, Alpha Towers, Suffolk Street Queensway, Birmingham B1 1TT, United Kingdom.

Questions before you commit anything

If a fee, a review or a clause above is unclear, ask us first. It is a faster conversation before you submit a campaign than after.
